An 83-year-old woman from San Diego, USA died after tripping on a staircase on a cruise ship in the Bahamas.
The woman was on her way down a staircase to one of the ship’s restaurants when she fell and broke her neck. The woman’s family is now suing the cruise line for $38 million for negligence, claiming that the staircase was too wide and therefore the woman had nothing to hold onto.
